I got this sandbox for Isaiah at a garage sale and he has slung sand from one end of the patio to the other since Friday. This picture was taken last night when we were getting ready for bed. I put on his PJ'S and then he went missing. I found him on the porch putting on his boots and then he quickly went outside to play again. It is so much fun trying to see life through the eyes of a child.

Isaiah loves the Zoo!
Can't you tell that Isaiah is having fun?! He actually did have a good time. We went to Henry Villas Zoo in Madison Wisconsin. The weather was beautiful and warm. It just so happened that when we took this picture, the camels in the fence behind us were making weird noises and biting each others faces. That did't go over too well with Isaiah.

Priceless
Naomi had her picture taken today and I wanted to buy them all! Of course I had to get these and a few others and spent more than I had planned to. Isn't she the cutest thing ever?! She is eight months old and is content to be held and played with by us. She does not try to crawl yet- she just lays around and takes it all in. She has such a gentle spirit. I can't believe how fast she has grown. Looking at these pictures reminds Micah and I that all of the hard work is worth it!

Mid April in Iowa
This is a picture of our weather today. They are calling for 10 inches! We had to drag our coats out of the closed again this morning. Isaiah is dying to go outside and walk in the snow. I had to put him in time out twice because he won't stop throwing a fit over it. There are 40 mile an hour winds so it is too cold to go out.
Easter Eggs
We went to the Steele's for the Easter weekend. The whole family gathered together for lots of eating- Gwen is an awesome cook! Monika and I decorated eggs the way she does at home. She taught me how to put two holes in the egg, one at each end, and blow the inside out leaving just the shell. Then we melted wax and used different tools to decorate the egg with the wax. It was fun!
Czech Village
We took Monika and Esther, the other student from Czech, to the Czech village in Cedar Rapids. You should have seen their eyes when they saw Czech words and flags everywhere. We ate at the resturant there and the food was delicious. We had cabbage rolls, goulash, potato dumplings and other Czech foods.
