Here is our tired sweet girl after a long tough morning of working our garage sale. She was really good for business. All of the old ladies bought our junk after seeing her big grin.

Table for three
High School Rodeo
Last weekend we went to the tri-state rodeo in Dubuque. I thought that Isaiah would love seeing the animals but instead he was not so happy. He was very concerned about the welfare of the men riding in the "bucking broncos" event and of the goat in the "goat tying" event. Oh well. He won't be our risk taker, that is for sure. Anyway, Naomi, Monika, and I had a fun time.

Door County fun
Micah and I rented bikes and rode all over Peninsula State Park. We ate WAY too much on this trip so we decided that a little exercise was in order. It was beautiful, especially when we got to the lookout tower. Here we are on the tower taking a quick picture. It was very windy up there as you can tell by my hair.
We had a great time on this trip. It was just what we needed to get us rejuvenated to go back to Isaiah, Naomi, and John...(Deere, that is).

Been farmin' long?
The scenery is here. Wish you were beautiful.
Micah and I are on vacation without the kids! We are in Door County, Wisconsin and having a great time. It is our 7th anniversary on Sunday and we can hardly believe it. So far we have eaten a lot and slept in a lot. Today we took the ferry to Washington Island and rode bikes all over. It was so peaceful. There aren't many tourists here yet because it is still a bit chilly.

The waterpark
Monika, Isaiah and I went to the indoor waterpark in Dubuque yesterday. Isaiah was terrified of the place and kept asking to go home and play with his toys. It cost alot to get in so I told him that we were not leaving! The only thing that he wanted to do was sit in this chair and eat Fig Newtons. He is not to thrilled about large amounts of water. I don't know how he will survive two weeks at the beach this summer. We are gong to the east coast for a week and the west coast for a week. I guess he will toughen up...I hope.
