I snapped this pic today of Isaiah practicing. He does such a great job and seems to enjoy playing the violin. He has to practice 30 minutes 5 days a week and does not complain a bit. He does get frustrated when he can't play a song perfectly. A little like Dad?? I am amazed at how well he has learned to read the music.

Sunday, Snuggles, Star Wars
This is what I found my family doing after church last Sunday. They were watching Star Wars. Isaiah is amazed at how much Dad knows about the movies and is determined to learn as much. Naomi will sign up for anything that her favorite boys are doing.
Travel Approval!!
Yesterday I made Levi's bed and washed and hung his clothes all the while thinking " maybe if I do this I will get a call". Silly, I know. Anyway we got the long awaited email last night! Woohoo!! Micah was out of town so I had to jump around the room alone. Naomi said "what are you doing?". SOO, the dates will be confirmed next week but it looks like we will leave the last week in February or the first week in March. Thank you all so much for your support through listening, prayers and well wishes. Getting closer!!

I was just cleaning the toilet when...
I went downstairs to find the windex and walked by the computer and saw a new email. It was from a lady in our Yahoo group for the Wenzhou orphanage. She said that she had received new photos of her daughter and in one of them there was a little boy and so we should all check it out to see if he was ours. OK...there are 300 kids at this orphanage... and I am sure you know where I am going with this by now. He's ours!!! My heart leaped as soon as I laid eyes on him. Our precious guy! And he has a friend!!
Oh I am so giggling right now. What a special present from the Lord. I can't wait to kiss those cheeks endlessly.
Thanks to Fonetta for sending out that email. ;)

Ten years ago on the 29th Micah and I got engaged in Chicago. We took the above photo of ourselves right after Micah asked me to be his wife at the top of the Sears Tower. We decided to take a trip there this year to celebrate our marriage and just enjoy each other. Micah's parents were gracious enough to take the kids and we had four days all to ourselves. We stayed downtown, shopped, ate out, drank coffee, walked, and just enjoyed each others company. We really had a blast! We also snapped this photo to prove to ourselves that we don't look any older, just wiser.
Christmas Vacation
Merry Christmas Ya'll! I know it is a little late but I had to share some stuff from our super fun vacation. We were blessed to have a visit from Levi and Rexhina, time with our small group, the Steeles (Rick, Gwen, Hannah, and Emmet) here for Christmas, lots of food, a wonderful trip to Chicago, time in Illinois with the rest of the Steeles (Joel, Steph, Mim, Cora, and Walker), and two more days at home before we get back to some dicipline! We are blessed beyond measure. Here are the pics to prove it.
