Micah went to Tokyo today for work. He will go to Germany and Austria after that. He will be gone almost two weeks. Isaiah and I cried on the way from the airport to church, each of us egging the other on. I hope those co-workers that he is traveling with know how blessed they are to be spending so much time with him...

Tea Party
The kids decided to have a tea party this morning. The idea is to empty out the plastics drawer onto the floor and sit for a while. Eventually the items are distributed around the house. The kids are really starting to play together more. The last few days I have noticed a big difference in that. They stay away from me and quiet for 15 minues or so here and there. It has been really nice!

Too Cute
I know that all I post are pictures of the kids in the house doing nothing important but this one was too cute not to post. Naomi likes to sit on the kitchen counter when I am cooking and this is today. She likes to have girl time...none of that banging, jumping, beating things stuff that boys do. (Sometimes she just wants to get away from the wild boy.) She is not saying many words that we can understand. She sure seems to know what she is saying! She can tell us when she wants food, drink, a video, her pants changed, and to be held, of course. She also started doing this thing where she rolls her eyes and crosses them at the same time all while grinning if you smile at her. It says "look at how cute I am!"

We Went Outside!!
It was a balmy 47 degrees on Wednesday afternoon so we decided to go for a walk with our friends Cathy and Paisley. Here are the kiddos. It was a bit windy but we managed to get a good 40 minutes of fresh air in before taking cover again. Isaiah must not have been as ready to get out of the house as I was. He complained that it was too windy.

Bible Story Backfire
Isaiah was in the bath today and he was protesting having his hair washed because he does not like the water in his eyes. We had a conversation and it went like this:
Mom: "What happens when you go to the pool or the ocean? Water gets on your face then and it is fun!"
Isaiah: "But I dont want to go to the ocean."
Mom: "Why not? You love to go there with Nana and Papa."
Isaiah: "Because the ocean has fish."
Mom: "Fish won't hurt you."
Isaiah: "A fish ate Jonah!!"
